Daliah was a great family member, a loving wife, a loving mother, a loving grandmother and a loving great-grandmother. She married her only love Malcolm in Israel after meeting him while he was on Embassy Duty in the Marines. She and her friends would walk back and forth trying to get the Marines in the house’s attention. Her whole life was dedicated to Malcolm.
Daliah served 3 years in the Israeli Army, and left as a Sergeant.
Daliah was a social, active lady who was deeply involved in the love of her family, Israel, the United States of America and the Oceanside Harbor Gift Shop. She enjoyed vacationing in Laughlin, Nevada and Hawaii. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring, loving and understanding person that had a crazy desire to pass out “cookies”.
Daliah was known as Dal, Daliah, Gma, Gramy, Mrs. Rawlins, Mom, Grand Ma, Rolo and Sergeant Caspi.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 25 at 9:00 am at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Oceanside. A reception will follow to celebrate her life.
All friends of Daliah are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. The family would like to thank all that knew her. In memory of my mom, do an act of kindness to someone else.
