He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Hoertling, Nancy Bermingham, three grandchildren, Jason Hoertling, Justin Hoertling and Elizabeth Hoertling, relatives, and friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 12:30 pm at St. Marys Star of Sea Catholic Church in Oceanside, California.
Military Honors by United States Navy on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, California at Flagpole.
A private inturnment will follow honors.
