George Washington Fernandez, 85, of Lahaina, Hawaii, peacefully passed away on September 5, 2017. George joined the Marine Corps in 1952 and retired after 28 years. He then owned Aloha Appliance Repair for over twenty years. He and his wife have lived in Oceanside, Ca for 55 years. George is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia, his son, Greg Fernandez, his three daughters, Cheryl Fernandez, Robbin Thompson, and Teri Faldon, 11 Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
Military Honors and Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Eternal Hills Mortuary in Oceanside, CA. from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. George will be buried at MiraMar National Cemetery on October 2, 2017.
Casual Hawaiian attire suggested.
