Gilbert Patrick Uribe, a life long resident of Oceanside, California passed away on November 29, 2025 at the age of 63 born in China Lake, California to parents George and Maria Uribe. Preceding him in death was his life long partner Jenna Johns. Gilbert was the third of five siblings, sisters Lupe Bagley (John), Martha Uribe-Lucas (Rich), brothers Sam Uribe (Tanja), Mario Uribe (Monet). He is also survived by his nephews, Jerry, Chris, Andrew, Steven, and Octavio and nieces, Danielle, and Alex.
Gilbert spent his years working in the agricultural warehouse business and was well known to bring family and friends fresh fruits and Christmas trees during the holiday season.
Gilbert was always an adventurous and loving person. He loved skateboarding in his younger years moving on to motorcycles. He never met anyone he didn’t like and always got along with everyone. To his nieces and nephews he was the “cool “ uncle and he was a great hugger!! He was a loving and caring brother, uncle, and friend he will be very missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a charitable contribution be made to the charity of your choice.
