

Gloria L. Mathews was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who was cherished by many throughout her life. A very strong and devout Christian, her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life and a source of great strength and grace.
She was a radiant, classy, and elegant woman known for her grace, signature Chanel eyeglasses, timeless style, and graceful presence. She had a deep love for travel, especially visiting France, where she found great joy and inspiration. She also had a passion for roses and gardening, taking pride in the beauty and peace she created through her flowers and garden.
She was preceded in death by her children, Bonnie Bell, Robin L. Munoz, and Michael D. Dickson.
Gloria is survived by her loving daughters, Cilette L. Mitchell of Oceanside and Patricia R. Baker of Jacksonville. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and happiness to her life.
Gloria will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love of family, her adventurous spirit, her grace and elegance, and the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
