Marcy and I remember our double dates, your ways, and the way you were a sharp dresser.
We also remember the dancing we  did with our girls.  
"Money?"  You remember how we use to refer to you as a "rich" guy.  So, we, guys at Mitchell, gave you the nick-name "Money."

I wanted to tell you that I had a dream about Jerry last week and he was telling jokes. I woke up laughing! That's a nice memory of Jerry!

My fondest memories with Uncle Jerry, was when he would come to  Sunnyvale to visit. I remember him and my mother his sister Betty, dancing in the kitchen and living room together.It gives me great peace knowing they r up in heaven dancing their butts off.

Jerry was mister cool & a great brother inlaw always had a joke to tell & drawing to share. Vicki always talked about all there good memories growing up danceing & other adventures. Much Aloha to you Jerry Ed

Uncle Jerry was such a fun man and I remember him always being kind to me.
Auntie Shirley--I'm sincerely sorry for your loss and for not being there to say goodbye to Uncle Jerry. I wish I made more of an effort to visit him and the other Duran relatives more often. I miss everyone and I will see you all soon.

I just had to post this picture. It's the one where he was wearing the Hawaiian shirt. He was laughing and kidding around all through the wedding service. That's why he looks so mischievous in the picture! I just love the way he looks in the picture. It's so like him. I arranged it to where we got married on his birthday so that he wouldn't forget his anniversary.

Jerry was the best thing that ever happened to me. and I miss him so very much. Some days it feels like my heart is missing. I just wanted to post another picture of my Jerry.

Good Bye my dear cousin Jerry. What a dancer wow! When I was so very young you use to dance the swing and cha-cha with me, your lil cousin. You had so much patience with Vicky and Me.You were a terrific brother to her. I just saw you in May and you looked dapper and as wonderful as ever! You were ALWAYS dressed just so and just the right amount of fragrance to be noticed. A very wonderful guy. Your crazy sence of humor and your little chuckles of laughter,you and my Uncle Del were so much fun and happy go lucky.You will be missed but you will not be forgotten. Rest well Jerry, now you can share laughter with your mom ,dad,sister and those you were close to.

No one has ever been more happy and proud to be a Duran than I am. Jerry has been the love of my live and I will cherish him and honor him 'til the day I die. He was so funny, loving, unselfish, giving, always thinking of others (especially me), so very thoughtful, the list just goes on and on. He never truly knew what a wonderful, kind gentleman he was. He was also a very giving person. He never denied me anything, no matter what I wanted. 
I miss him more than words can express. 
I know that with the help of my Lord and my church friends, I will make it through these trying times. God is my strength and my rock. He's always there for me. I just have to remember to reach out to Him.

My brother Jerry,

Jerry was my fun brother. He always had a joke to make everyone feel better. 

We bowled went to Oscars drive- in restaurant where your meal was delivered to your car by skaters.  
Went to dance completions in LA. So many fun adventures. 
 I loved those special times. 

But most of all we danced and danced. Swing being our favorite. Jer worked with me patiently as I started dancing at age 8. 

Jerry told a story with his dancing.  One that was his very own. 
What fun to perfect and perform the challenging dance routines together. 

But most of all he cared enough to teach me to exceed my limits. To always reach higher which I took with me through my life. 

As a cartoonist he put every activity I did into a sketch which I treasure dearly. I was so proud of him. Always caring about others. 

You know I told him one day, "It's a real gift being good at things"!  Jerry used that gift in his life and shared it as a son, a husband, friend, uncle, artist and as my brother. 

Jerry was so blessed with his wonderful wife Shirley and lived a very happy life!

My Jerry you will truly be missed and I will always remember your caring ways and guidance forever more. 

Most of all you were my big brother and my very best 
friend. 

I love and will miss you so.

JD, I'll keep my eyes out for those that fall off the turnip trick! I'm so happy we got to hang out again at Mitchell 1. I enjoyed trying to out dress you and wearing the two-tone shoes. ...and yes, I did buy my shirts off the rack not behind the counter! I'll forever cherish your humor and your drawings. Uncle Jerry -  I will never forget you or the wonderful times we had!  You  taught me to dance the Watusi, I think before I could walk!  And I learned to drive your Corvette and T-Bird while sitting on your lap!  No ice cream has ever tasted so good as those double dips we'd get at Carnation!  I tagged along on errands and dates, but you never complained.  The most fashionable man I've ever known!  I loved it when you took me shopping!  The Nero Jacket and hippie beads in 1969 were my fav!  I will treasure these memories in my heart until I see you again in Glory where there are no more tears.  Forever your niece, Robin Ann
