

Born on December 20, 1960, in Honolulu, Hawaii to the parents of Loraine and Gladys English. Johnny was a kind and gentle soul with a warm sense of humor. A devoted son, brother, and uncle, he was especially known for his singing voice, deep love and care for his mother and his close bond with his family.
Rooted in faith, Johnny found strength in the Lord and came to terms with and accepted his diagnosis of a glioblastoma brain tumor for 23 years with grace. He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the love he shared so freely.
Johnny had many talents. He loved to sing and was the lead singer in the family band called the," French Wraps" along with painting, entertaining and making everyone laugh. He was also part owner of JPL Salon in Rancho Santa Fe, with his sister Lisa English and friend Patsy Evans.
The family would like to thank the sisters Lisa, Sherry and Laurie for the care and compassion they showed their brother Johnny in his final days.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Michael English, Laurie Corning, James English, Sherry Wallace, Lisa English, Thomas English, and Susan Orozco, and the rest of his family.
A Catholic Mass will be held on May 29th at 11:00 am at St Francis Catholic Church Vista, Ca, followed by burial for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Masses be offered for the repose of his soul.
