Joseph Barker was born on August 28, 1946 in Kingsville, Texas. He entered into rest on March 8, 2012 in La Jolla, California.

He is survived by his father, Everett Calvin Barker, mother, Norma Lee King Barker , relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Eternal Hills Memorial Chapel in Oceanside, California.

Mr. Barker's final resting place will be Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California
