The Joy of my life went to be home with our Lord June 22, 2014. Joy was born in Holtville, CA May 5th 1933 and her family moved to Chula Vista, CA when she was four. Joy attended Chula Vista High School and was Editor of the school’s newspaper. After high school Joy graduated from Coleman College and then she had a very successful career in Banking. She was married to her husband Bob in 1952 and they recently celebrated 62 years together.
She is predeceased by her father and her mother Earl and Ora Lawdermilk. Joy loved sewing and never met a stranger. Joy was dearly loved by her family and is survived by her sons Robert and Mark, her sister Carol as well as five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. I cannot describe how much she is going to be missed. Rest easy sweetheart.
