

She was born on January 6, 1933 in Oxnard, CA. She graduated from Vista High School in 1950. She married Tsugio Imoto in 1952 where they made their home in Vista, CA.
She is survived by her sons Donald (Maria) and David (Margarita), her daughters Joyce (Jim), Kathleen (Jerry), daughter-in-law Kim, grandchildren Jeff (Nicole), Derek (Salina), Kari (Edgar), Roberta, Pina, Melissa (Justin), Erika (Nick), Megan (Scott), Morgan (Brett), Miguel, Nicolas, Monica, Great-Grandchildren Miranda, Talon, Jacob, Owen, Kenley, Darryn, Mason, Maxwell, Dylan, Sofia, Kaydence, Colton, Charlee Jane, Brady, Drew, Reid, and Walker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tsugio and son Steven.
Her family was always her top priority, attending all the kids’ and grandchildrens’ activities, sports, dance recitals, horse shows, all school programs. She continued to attend the Great-Grandkids’ functions also.
She was the perfect hostess making sure everyone was fed and cared for.
She worked hard all her life on the farms helping with the operations of growing all the strawberries, tomatoes, squash, and corn. And also at all the farmers’ markets that they attended.
She was an active member of the Japanese Cultural Center, helping with Bingo, Hanamatsuri, and Obon festivals. She loved going to Las Vegas on the bus with all the others.
