Marilyn was a graduate of North Shore Hospital School of Nursing and had a fulfilling career in nursing. On May 30, 1957, Marilyn married
Richard J. Clarke Jr. who proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Richard and Marilyn relocated several places over the years due to Richard's various
promotions, finally retiring in Oceanside, CA at the Ocean Hills Country Club. Marilyn raised four children: Jan, Richard, Julie and Michael, and
lived an active life in Ocean Hills and touched the hearts of many. She was a volunteer at the Tri City Medical Center and an active member of The Church
of St. Thomas More. Marilyn is survived by her husband; four children; ten grandchildren; one greatgrandson; and brothers, Robert and Charles Walker.
A Celebration of Life Mass and reception will be held at 11 a.m., on June 6, 2014 at The Church of St. Thomas More, Oceanside, CA.
Interment at Miramar National Cemetery will follow on June 9, 2014. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association.
