Norm was born and raised in the Illinois Area, he graduated from high school and joined the U.S. Navy during WWII. He served aboard the U.S.S. Calvert.
After his first wife Martha fell ill and passed away, he married Mary Durr and they enjoyed many happy years together. Mary proceeded Norm in death in 2018.
Norm enjoyed a long career at the Air Research Company and later at the Mastertech auto service company.
He was a long time member of the Elks Club, a golfer and a huge fan of the game.
Norm is survived by his granddaughter Debby Link and his grandson Michael Ybarra, along with numerous great grandchildren.
