He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Shirley O'Neal Downs and father, Alex Luera.
He is survived by his step-father, Warren Harrington Downs, brothers, Nick Luera and David Luera, family, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 1:00pm at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside, California.
