Salvador the man was a great teacher, friend, father, husband, son, brother, father-in-law, and grandfather. Salvador was always willing to lend anyone a hand whether being friend or family. Salvador made friends very easily and it was very common to go to a restaurant or store and find several people who knew him and were eager to talk to him. Salvador had such a warm and inviting personality that it was not uncommon for him to meet someone and within a matter of 15 minutes have a conversation and become friends.
Salvador had a great love for his family. Passing along advice to all of his children and grandchildren. He also passed along his passion for boxing. He taught his son and grandsons how to box. Salvador felt that life was a lot like boxing. He felt that a successful boxer was one that had come into the ring well prepared, and worked hard, and therefore would be successful. This was a lot like life in that one would be successful if they had properly prepared themselves and worked hard.
Salvador also had a love for finding great deals at garage sales. He was very skilled at finding items at garage sales for reselling and it would not be uncommon for him to pick up a new friend along the way.
