Sarah Joanne Martin Costi passed away at her Oceanside, California home surrounded by family in the early morning hours of October 9, 2024. She was 42 years old. Sarah put up the bravest fight battling cancer for the last 3 years. She lived beyond expectations and we are grateful for the time we had with her.
Sarah was born October 1, 1982 in Palm Springs, California to parents Susan and William Martin. She graduated from Palm Springs High School in 2000 and earned a National Honor Society membership. She then attended Boston University, graduating with a degree in International Relations in 2004. Sarah worked as a Supply Chain Data Analyst, maintaining her CPIM designation.
She loved to travel (and no one could stop her!) and was lucky to see many places in her lifetime. She was a true animal lover - - volunteering/working for the humane societies and horse ranches as a teenager, and she especially loved her own horses Jackson and Trinity. Sarah also enjoyed running and knitting.
Stubborn but caring, independent but nurturing, extremely smart and a real adventurist at heart, Sarah will be sorely missed.
Sarah is survived by her husband Robert Nosek, her mother Susan Costi, sister Theresa Kaiser (Ryan), her nieces Sydney and Stella, her cat Galaxy, horse Jackson, many Costi and Martin cousins, aunts, uncles, and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her horse Trinity who passed away earlier this year. May they reunite and ride into their new amazing world.
A visitation and celebration of life will be held on November 4, 2024, 4-8 p.m.at Eternal Hills Mortuary, located at 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054.
