Telesia "Sia" Isaia, of Oceanside, California, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on April 6, 1945, in Aua, American Samoa, to her beloved parents Aukusitino Iu Isaia and Tofa Uli Fa’ate’a.
Sia was a cherished member of a large and loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings Isaia Sale Isaia, Sale Isaia, Kalameli Matautia, Anna Kinsey, May Atiga, Maumea Samifua, Pau Talaeai, Elena Liufau, Sesilia Isaia, Kofa Liusa, Fatima Sauafea, Maleine Godkin, and Koreti Isaia. She is also reunited with her beloved son Arona Isaia, granddaughter Ariel Ambrocio, and many loved ones who went before her.
She is survived by her children: Apelu Salanoa, Eseta & Rob Sanchez, Akerise & Amy Isaia, and Theresa Robert. She is also survived by her only living sister, Marianive Iu (Uila), 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her love and legacy.
Her love and passion for her family were felt by all who knew her. She was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her kindness and love will live on in the heart of her family forever.
