Paul, Karla, and Jeff,
Very sorry to hear about Joan's passing. I remember she was the first friendly face I saw many a morning when I walked down the hall at Heuvelton Central as a substitute. I always enjoyed her holiday decorations.

Growing up hanging out at the Kennedy’s house was always such a fun time, and with Joan and Paul you always felt like family and Joan felt like the ‘cool aunt’...so many laughs and fun times growing up with Joansey there to share her home whenever a crew of kids happened to show up. Paul, Jeff, and Karla, I’m so sorry for your loss and thinking of you guys.

Every family has that one Aunt or Uncle, or in our case "Aunt & Uncle" that are different than the rest. They are the ones you wait in anticipation to hear their reaction to every situation. The ones that live their life their way and the ones that always make you smile a little differently than the rest. I will always remember Aunt Joan as being this Aunt of mine. I hope that someday my nieces and nephews will look at me the same way I look at Aunt Joan. I love you and miss you. Thanks for being a part of my life.
