A celebration of life gathering for Marie A. Pitts, age 58 of the Taggert Road in Lisbon will be held on Saturday March 23, 2013 beginning at 1:30pm. Marie passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at her home.
Surviving is her husband James Pitts; a daughter Christe Pitts-Lilley of Ogdensburg; a son Terry Pitts of Ogdensburg; brothers Lawrence Martin & his wife Vi of Rochester, Phil Martin & his wife Diane of Norfolk, Don Martin & his wife Linda of TN, David Clemo & his wife Gloria of Rochester; a sister Christine Arquette of Massena; grandchildren Evelyn, Hatti, Mea May, Natalya, Hanna, Noah & Elma.
Marie was born on October 19, 1954 in Massena, NY a daughter of Joseph W. “Victor” & Gertrude (Clemo) Martin. She graduated from Massena High School and later married James R. Pitts.
She worked as a nurse’s aid at United Helpers Nursing Home for 6 years until she became disabled. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, sewing and her pets.
