

Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Nina; his four sons, Matthew (Peggy) Truesdell, Travis (Christina) Truesdell, David Truesdell and Daniel (Christine) Truesdell; and his daughters, Sherry (Greg) Lussier, Angela (Sandy) Lombard and Nancy (Bernie) Brochue. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Truesdell, Shannon Truesdell, Micha Wilson and 13 other cherished grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, James Truesdell.
Paul was born on April 27, 1938 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, a son of the late Samuel and Lucie (Galbraith) Truesdell. He graduated from Simsbury High School in Simsbury, Connecticut, and later continued his education at the University of Connecticut, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Paul proudly served in the Connecticut Air National Guard from 1955 to 1961. He later married the love of his life, Nina Potts.
Paul spent most of his life working as a farmer, a profession he deeply loved and dedicated himself to wholeheartedly. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet kindness and devotion to his family and community.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed woodworking, serving on church boards and playing cards with friends and family. He treasured the simple joys of life and the time spent with those he loved most.
