Ronald F. White

Funeral services for Ronald F. White age 62 of the Tiernan Road in Waddington and formerly of the Ogdensburg-Canton Road, will be held on Friday (July 8, 2011) at 11:00am at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the service at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday (July 7, 2011) from 4-7pm at the Funeral Home. Ron died Tuesday morning (July 5, 2011) at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Surviving is his wife Joan; his mother Leora M. White of Massena; two sons Ron White Jr. of Gouverneur and Francis White of Canton; a daughter Ruby Douglas of Gouverneur; a sister Sandra Lee & her husband Joseph DeFranco of Raymondville; four grandchildren Chelsea & Brooke Forney, Jerico White and Harley Douglas along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Ron’s father Francis J. White predeceased him.

He was born on May 31, 1949 in Massena, NY a son of Francis J. & Leora M. (Durant) White. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for his education and married Joan Graham on December 23, 2002. He was the owner/operator of Ron White Trucking and White’s Scrap Metal in Philadelphia, NY. Ron enjoyed working, his animals and stock car racing.

Memorial contributions have been requested to the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
