Sandra M. Montoya

Surviving are two children Jacky Montoya of Fulton, MO and Josie Montoya of FL; a special friend Joanne Perkins of Ogdensburg; a brother Harry Bryan of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Montoya in 1992 and a son Joseph Montoya in 2007.

Sandy was born on October 29, 1946 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of the late Harry & Dorothy (Bice) Bryan. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and continued her education at the Rockland Community College with a major in Nursing. She later married Joe O. Montoya on November 22, 1963 in Santa Fe, NM.

During her career she was employed at the Rockland State Hospital and The Missouri Cancer Research Center as a nurse for many years. She later moved to the North Country where she worked in retail and McCadam Cheese until 1994 when she again moved back to Missouri. In 2012 she again returned to Ogdensburg where she retired. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, yard sales, traveling and spending time with her friend Joanne.
