Tara A. Moncrief

Funeral services for Tara A. Moncrief, age 23 of Ogdensburg will be held on Monday (Oct 28, 2013) at 12:00 at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Michael O’Donnell, Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church officiating. Calling hours will also be held on Monday from 11:00am until the time of the service. Tara passed away Wednesday (Oct 23, 2013) at her home.

Surviving is her mother Diane Montroy, sister Shari Montroy both of Ogdensburg; aunt Donna Montroy of Heuvelton; uncles Dennis Montroy & his wife Sue of Ogdensburg; Doug Montroy & his wife Karyl of Fulton; Wayne Blackmere of Chategay; her god father Brian Perry of Ogdensburg along with many paternal aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

Her father Erick Moncrief; maternal grandparents Jacqueline Blackmere & Cash Montroy Sr.; paternal grandparents Glen & Muriel Moncrief and an aunt Debbie Connor predeceased her.

Tara was born on June 11, 1990 in Ogdensburg, NY the daughter of Erick Moncrief & Diane Montroy. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy for her education where she was also the Blue Devil Mascot for several years. She enjoyed bike riding, playing basketball, listening to music, watching movies, animals of all kind and spending time with her friends and family. Tara has lived her life with a positive attitude despite her years of sickness. She will be missed dearly by those that loved her.
