Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mr. Fletcher passed away on Monday (Feb 18, 2019) at the Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Surviving is his wife Edith; two sons Wayne (Patricia) Fletcher and Michael Fletcher; a daughter Rhonda Fletcher all of Lisbon; five grandchildren Dr. Caitlin Fletcher & her boyfriend Anthony Porco of Lexington, KY, Riane (Zach) Dodge of Ogdensburg, Nolan Fletcher of Jupiter, FL, Illyssa Carty & fiancee’ Jarret Premo of Potsdam, NY and Logan Fletcher of Sioux St. Marie, MI; great-grandchildren Bryce Carty and Adelia Premo along with nieces, nephews & cousins.
A sister Shirley Smith predeceased him.
Warren was born on April 16, 1931 in Lisbon NY, a son of the late Milton & Avis (Wheater) Fletcher. He graduated from the George Hall Trade School in 1948, and later married Edith Henry on June 26, 1954 at the First Congregational Church of Lisbon.
Warren grew up on the family farm and continued the operations until 2009. He also drove a milk truck and worked for Smith Bros Electrical part-time over the years. He enjoyed playing dart baseball, spending time with family, farming, camping, snowmobiling, reading and watching John Wayne movies.
