Avis Carol Moore, 83 of Goldsby, Oklahoma, formerly of Woodward, OK, passed away December 4, 2021, surrounded by loving family. She was born in Pryor, Oklahoma, on October 7, 1938, and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1956.
She married James F. (Jim) Hasenbeck and had three children. She later married Andrew Jackson (Jack) Moore on May 23, 1968.
Carol served as President of City College, Inc. for 15 years and as President of the University of Oklahoma Drama School Guild. Carol was a talented artist and community volunteer. But especially Carol was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother.
She is survived by: Jack, her loving husband of 54 years; her children, James H. Hasenbeck, Ki Lynn Parker, and Lee Jay Hasenbeck; her stepdaughter Annalee Miller; her Grandchildren Grant, Clinton, Taylor, Spencer, Blair, Alex, Claire, and Joshua; her Great-Grandchildren Addy, Rowan, Eleanor, Mary, and Ellie; her Sister Sharon Davis; her Nephews Jeremy Colby, David Shelton, and Gabriel Shelton; and Niece Merilyn Ware.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church in Oklahoma City.
Carol’s funeral will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Memorial Park Historic Chapel, 13400 N. Kelly, Oklahoma City, OK.
