

Faye was the daughter of William A. and Mollie E. (Clark) Garrett. Faye married Don Bertram Davis on August 14, 1951. Faye and Don enjoyed 63 years of married love and companionship before Don preceded her in death in March of 2014. Their only child, Greg preceded her in death in 2011. Don and Greg were profoundly cherished by Faye and she was a beloved wife and mother.
Faye faithfully cared for her family as they traveled for Don’s service in the United States Air Force for 21 years. They lived in various places, creating lifelong friendships and enjoying visits with family. Lifelong OU fans, Faye worked alongside Don to help Greg and his family run the Sooner Schooner store in Norman, OK. During this time she was preceded in death by daughter in law Terri Lois Christian.
Faye spent the last few years back home in Lawton, OK where she was loved on faithfully by many family members and she and her sister, Mollie even enjoyed living together. Faye was also preceded in death by her sister Vinita, her brother Melvin Self, her sister Annie Heck, her sister Naomi Hayes, her brother Robert Garrett, and her sister Mollie Brady. She is survived by her sister Lillian Lowe, two grandchildren, Michael Mason of Norman, OK and Courtney Jewett of Fort Worth, TX, seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and numerous members of her extended family.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 27 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel (13313 North Kelley Avenue, OKC, OK) at 10 am to be followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery (13400 North Kelley Avenue, OKC,OK).
