Gloria Gay Nelson, born December 15, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, peacefully died on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Preceding her in death are her parents Chuck and Faye Stephenson, as well as her beloved husband, Ronald Godfrey Nelson. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Jo Nelson and son, Ronald Godfrey Nelson Junior. In addition, she is survived by her godchildren, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She attended Northwest Classen where she met her beloved Ron. After his passing, she became the owner/CEO of Utility Tower Company, until her retirement.
Her later years were spent traveling with her favorite people. Her days were filled with exploring, eating, drinking, and enjoying everyday life. Until her passing, she treasured her animals, garden and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 24, 2025 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Oklahoma City with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
