

The son of Gary and Lindy Combrink, he was born February 10, 1974, in Enid, Oklahoma. He grew up in Enid and graduated with honors from Enid High School in 1992.
He was actively involved in many activities and hobbies including hunting, fishing and multiple sports in which he excelled. He began playing golf as a teenager and excelled at that sport. He received many honors during his golfing career, including placing first in the 1992 Oklahoma State High School Championship, being named National High School Golf All-American, winning the Oklahoma State Amatuer Championship, as well as many other achievements. He would go on to play golf on a full scholarship at Tulane University in New Orleans, La and the University of Houston where he was All Conference Champion at both schools. He received the honor of Most Valuable Athlete in golf and Intercollegiate All-American Champion in 1996.
He competed as a tour professional in the Golden Bear, Tight Lies and Nationwide professional golf tours from 1997-2006.
Lance was a devoted Christian and a member of The Woodlands Methodist Church. He made sure his children knew Christ and instilled in them the importance of keeping Christ first in their lives. He always put others ahead of himself and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone, be it a friend or a stranger. With his kind, friendly, fun-loving nature and his quick-witted intelligence, he drew lasting friendships everywhere he went. His spirit will live on through all who were touched by him.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Jill Combrink Kahn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gordon Hayton of Billings, Oklahoma and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Combrink of Enid, Oklahoma.
Lance is survived by his wife Allison Combrink, sons, Mason and Jack, and daughter, Alexa, of The Woodlands, Texas, his parents, Gary and Lindy Combrink of Edmond, Oklahoma, brother-in-law Mike Kahn, niece and nephew, Riley and Austin Kahn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
Services will be held on September 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow.
