As the time for this book to close approaches I feel a deep sadness that this is just another of those sad times we as a family have. We went through Nathan's birthday without you. Gabriel turned One without you. Your Dad's birthday went by without you. Your 27th birthday passed without you. That one was extremely hard on me. Your Brother's, your husband's and my birthday passed without you being there for them. We had to have our first Thanksgiving without you, And the big one the boy's first Christmas without mommy. We muddled through but none were the same without you being a part of them.
For the rest of my days I will always wonder if there wasn't something your dad or I or someone couldn't have done to change the outcome of this horrific tragedy. 
I know in my heart what happened can't be changed and we just have to go on without you. 
But that is sometimes easier said than done. I think about you every day not always sad things, I still mention you like you are still here. I miss my person I used to turn to tell events that happened in my life. Or to call when something with Mom needs another opinion, you were always that person for me. 
Your friends seemed confused by the fact that when you were growing up you told me pretty much everything. We were best friends. And losing your best friend really sucks. But I have your brother that I can smother with concern and affection, even if he acts like he doesn't really want it. I will still be there.
So this guest book is just another one of the things that we just get to see go by.
Just know that no matter what I love you with all my heart and I miss you more than life.

Dear Laura , My heart is so heavy , my eyes are tear stained . I just discovered you passed away. We went to medical assisting school together at Francis Tuttle . I was the 50 year old mom in there. I loved you and admired you so , struggling with the surgery you had at the time . You were just precious to me . The last time we spoke and saw each other , you were working for an OB/GYN. I lost contact with you and should have checked with Mr Wiggins to see if he knew. Shame on me. Somehow your name showed up on my FB friends list... I did not request or accept , so I'm not not sure how this came about . I think a Guardian Angel intercepted . I went straight to your timeline and read the heartbreaking news. I see you were married and had two little boys. Laura you were a loving , sweet girl and please know I loved you dearly . Rest in peace sweet girl.

Happy Thanksgiving Baby I miss you everyday. Nathan misses you alot. We watched some squirrels in grandma's yard and he talked about having them at your apartment in Kentucky. He remembers alot more than we think. I love my 2 little men, we will be thinking about you on thanksgiving as we eat some of your favorite foods. I miss you sweety.

From the first day you were born, I have been amazed at your willing yourself to overcome every obstacle. I  am always thrilled to learn of every event in your precious life.  You did it all...and so very extra-ordinarily well.  We will always see you living on in your little sons, in the love you showered over them. Great-aunt Nina

We had some wonderful times together and had a blast through Middle School and High School. You being gone still seems so surreal to me. I wish we could have talked one last time. And I wish that our kids could have met. I will miss you and will always think about you. I will keep your husband and your kids in my prayers. You were an inspiration to many and I know that you touched everyone that you were friends with in one way or another. I will miss you!

Your bday is the same as my youngest shell b 2 I think about you a lot I know we were not best friends but I just can't believe it still feels like a dream miss you and your thought bout much.

Dear Laura your birthday is fast approaching. Doesn't seem real even now after 3 and a half months. Your little men are growing up. I miss you more i think every day. You were suppose to be here with us this summer. And everyday that i watch your memaw get worse I think about your biggest fear when you went home last december. that something would happen and you wouldn't be here. I never thought this would be the reason that you aren't here. I think she misses you more than she tells me. Only because she knows how much I miss you anyway. As the end of the year keeps getting closer and closer I am dreading the holidays. You will not be here and Mom is worse and doesn't want to do dinners anymore. I love you with all my heart and soul baby. I miss you!!!!!!!

I haven't had the strength to write anything yet, but seeing as I have run out of time for this I guess now is my only chance. I'm really bad at expressing my emotions and you always knew that. I just wanted to say that I miss you and that I'll always love you. I'm sorry I dragged you away from your family and friends for what now seems like nothing. It still just doesn't seem real to me.... I tried calling you the other day forgetting that you weren't able to answer. I'm sorry I wasn't the perfect husband and that I was at work a lot of the time. I wish I could just hold you one more time, or even just hear your voice. I miss you so much. I love you. "I love you, Laura" that's one of the last things I wish I had been able to say to you. You were always there for me when I needed you and were the best sister a brother could have ever hoped for. I will miss you dearly for the rest of my life and I hope you are finally pain-free. I will make sure all three of your boys are well cared for.

You were a very sweet child, and you grew into a wonderful adult. You were so protective over your brother - I don't know how many times the first year I met your family that you would come over and say, "My brother fell down/hurt his finger/doesn't feel well, and he's only three years old!" It was very sweet and showed what a great mom you would be some day.

I have and will truly miss your visits. It was always wonderful to get a knock on the door and see you standing there. I'll never forget the two visits where you showed me your pregnancy tests. Pregnancies that no one was sure would ever happen. Not ashamed to admit I had a lot of happy tears seeing those positive results! You spent so much time at Cathy's, playing with her charges. You were truly meant to be a mom. I know with certainty that even though you were called away from them way too early in our minds, you loved every minute of being a mommy to those two boys, and, though not a physical presence, you will be in their lives forever. 

You were very special to me, and I feel like you were part of our family too. Along with your CJ, your parents, and your family and friends, I will help keep your memory alive for those kids - they will never doubt what a wonderful person their mommy was or how much she loved them.

Thirty days have passed and I miss you so each day, but this Father's Day was the worst day, I did not have a call saying " Hi Daddy ! ". 
I was so content with the certain knowledge that you were in Kentucky with your 3 loves.  Our world is shattered, my heart is so broken and can't be repaired.  
Truths are sometimes revealed many years later.  When you were in your teens, you gave us " extra " hugs, so strong that they hurt.  At the time, your Mom and I did not know why, but now I know that the " extra " part of the hugs are meant to be passed on, with no loss to myself.  So I will gently hug Nathan, Gabriel, and C. J. and call them " Special " hugs and if asked I will tell them the hug comes from you.

Laura I am sorry it has taken me this long to say how much I miss you! Love you! But everyday I expect u to walk thru the door! You always had a positive attitude about everything. I would give u my mother-in-law advise on marriage and kids and u would always listen. Never argue or criticize. U were a one in a million daughter-in-law! I feel a little lost without u in my life.  Rest in Peace knowing CJ and the boys r being well taken care of and loved!!! We all miss and love you so very much!!!

I was very lucky to have have the honor of growing up right down the street just a few houses away from you. I wish I could turn back time. I am so sorry that you are gone. The world was brighter with your caring heart in it. God bless and rest in peace beautiful. Save us all a spot in heaven. Prayers to your family.

Well Im certainly not good with words but there are some things id like to say. I wish I could have had the chance of knowing you as well as I did your husband. There is nothing that could of been harder than this, yet as hard as this was on everyone they all came together. In your absence there was so much love that i wish you could of been here for. You can rest easy knowing that your children and your husband will always be well taken care of and I will always do anything in my limits to make sure of that.

I am so sorry for you loss my dear friend. We are not suppose to go before our children. Hold on to the memories and visit her grave often. It has been 2 years since Darla died and i still want to pick up the phone and call her. Love you

If she was anything like her Mom she was very special person. From one Mother to another who loss a child is the worse thing for a parent to go through.The wombs do heal in time but the memories will last a life time. I still 2 years later want to pick up the phone and call her. Hang on to those memories and visit her grave often. Love you.

There are so many things left unsaid. So many thank you's and I love you's that I didn't say. So many calls and text never made. So many hugs left unhugged. You were such a good mommy, friend and family member.  Your kids love you unconditionally. And that was evident as we watched little Nathan say "No that's my mommy, I want my mommy" when they lowered you down to rest. Then he leaned over to watch you and said "bye mommy" for the very last time. The wound is fresh and will heal in time. But it will be very hard. We love you Laura.

So Sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter.

I love you baby. Know that you are missed and i will see you again someday.

Well Pickles, Looks like you get to see them first. I'm sure my dad has a campfire waiting and you know my mom will have snacks! HUG them tight for me!
