

Michael Robert Hedin was born on May 5, 1970, in Springfield, Missouri. He passed away January 10, 2014 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mike was CEO of Operations at Unlimited Sweepers & Cleaners, LLC in Oklahoma City.
Mike served in and had a sincere love for the United States Marine Corps. He was a champion race car driver, a fearless motorcycle rider, and he absolutely refused to back down from any challenge life gave him. From beginning to end, he was driven and stubborn and, most importantly, he was profoundly loved by those who knew him best.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Merle Hedin. He is survived by his mother, Kitty Benton, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Rosalie Hedin of Vancouver, Washington; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Deborah Hedin of Clever, Missouri; his sister, Lisa Hedin of Springfield, Missouri; his nieces, Brittney Butts and Desiree Moreland; his nephew, Benjamin Hedin, LCpl; and countless extended family and friends far and wide.
The family will be receiving visitors at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, January 15, from noon until 2:00 p.m. A celebration of Mike’s life will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel and will continue afterward with a reception at the Historic Memorial Park Chapel.
