Nora was born in Borger, Texas on June 6th, 1927 to parents Henry and Winnie Hargus. Following this she would go on to meet William Everett Russell, and the two were happily married on May 22nd, 1948. She made her career as homemaker, and loved to spend time with friends and family.
Nora is preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her children, Jan Russell, and Kim Kelley and husband William; Grandchildren, Katherine Kelley, and Ronald Stateler; Great-grandchild, Kasima Stateler; Sister, Doris Williams; As well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Nora will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
A funeral service will occur Monday, January 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home Historic Cemetery Chapel, 13400 N. Kelley Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
