Oscar Clarence Schultz passed on to Heaven on Thursday, September 2, 2010. He was born September 5, 1918 in Loyal, Oklahoma to David Ned Schultz and Mary Marie Schaefer Schultz, the youngest of five sons. He was a devoted, loving husband for 68 years, father of three, grandfather of four and great-grandfather of five.
Oscar was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Air Force in North Africa and Sicily for 34 months, and later discharged as a sargeant. Upon return, he enjoyed owning and operating Mobile Gas stations in Watonga and OKC and later retired after 17 years at Tinker AFB. He was a member of Britton Baptist Church for 49 years.
Oscar is survived by his wife Arlene, daughter Karen Martinek, son Sam, son Steve and wife Susan, four grandchildren and spouses and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Monday 9am-8pm, with the family to receive friends from 6-8pm. Services 2pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Britton Baptist Church.
