He was born on December 13th, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas to parents Patrick and Amanda Murphy. Pat attended Wichita East High School and went on to start a truck driving career with CCC Trucking. In later years he worked for Advanced Auto in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pat had a passion for trains, auto racing, camping, and sailing. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs—his favorite team. Pat was an outdoorsman and loved to be out in nature. He was a gearhead, enjoying working on projects at work and around the house. There were very few things he couldn’t fix. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.
Pat is survived by his Fiancé, Clara Cook; Children, Sara Knight and husband Joe, Samantha Vrooman and husband Steve, Ryan Murphy and wife Amanda, and Sierra Murphy; Grandchildren, Houston, Ethan, Mason, Caiden, Kinzie, Sebastian, Emalyn, and Hadyen; Sisters, Leah Montes and Maria Cornell; and mother, Liz Two-Hatchett.
He is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Murphy; Step-father, Lee Two-Hatchett; Late wife, Tamara Murphy; Brother, Greg Murphy; Niece, Feodora Two-Hatchett; and grandparents, Frank and Lynette Barriner.
A Memorial Service will be held for Pat at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at Memorial Park Funeral Home located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
