

Ramona was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 9, 1932, to Emil Amatucci and Lillian Storm. She graduated from Holy Family Cathedral School and afterward attended business college. A lifelong resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ramona was employed for a number of years as a secretary for Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation. She spent the majority of her career working for the Tulsa County Assessor’s Office until she retired.
Ramona had a giving spirit and spent many years caring for her mother. Early in life, Ramona took voice and piano lessons, and in high school, she was known for her ‘golden voice.’ She also played piano in her church to which she was very devoted.
When she was younger, Ramona loved traveling to Mt. Shasta in Northern California and enjoyed family road trips. Ramona’s family was very important to her, and she frequently said how much she loved them all. She treasured family holidays and birthdays, she enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews, and in her later years, even her great-nephews.
She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Taylor; niece, Anne Brooks and her husband, Lex, and their children; niece Amy Amatucci; nephew John Amatucci and his wife, Macy, and their children; niece Lisa Musgrove and her husband, Glen, and their children; nephew Bill Conway; and nephew Chad Conway and his children; nephew Greg Connelly and his children, and sister-in-law, Patricia Amatucci.
Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, Emil Amatucci and Lillian Storm Nelson, brother, Richard Amatucci, sister, Shirley Connelly, brothers-in-law, Jack Connelly and Rick Taylor, and nephew, Brian Connelly.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on October 5, 2024, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, 73131, (405) 755-1111.
