Rick J. Manharth, 57, was born November 10, 1952, in Oklahoma City to parents Elmer Roy & Gracie Lee (Thomas) Manharth and passed away in his home July 27, 2010. He married the love of his life, Debbie Wall, on April 14, 1973.
Rick loved to work with his hands. He was a carpenter and a mechanic; he could fix anything. He especially loved working on old cars.
His grandkids were the light of his life.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Corey Goad; and nephew, Ricky Shepherd.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie; daughters: Michelle Goad & husband Darren and Melissa Johnson & husband Darrell; brothers, Roy “Butch” Manharth and Jimmy Manharth; twin-sister, Vickey Calvert; sister, Sherry Shepherd; grandchildren: Kayla, Aaron, Ryan, Jessica, and Alesha; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be at Memorial Park, Friday from 9am to 9pm. Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Memorial Park Historic Chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Historic Chapel.
