Ron Duncan

Ronald Earl Duncan, age 83 of Edmond Oklahoma passed away on March 3, 2026. He was born in Forth Worth, Texas on November 3, 1942. He married his high school sweet heart Connie Enos on October 26, 1963. Through good times and bad, thick and thin, they walked with each other and with the Lord.

Ron served proudly in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965 in Guam, and Porto Rico. He worked as an air traffic controller from 1967 to 1977 in New Mexico and then he spent the rest of his career as an instructor of air traffic control in Oklahoma until his retirement in 1998.

Ron enjoyed bird hunting and working on improvement projects on his home, but his greatest passion on this earth was his family. He was a loving and loyal husband to Connie. He was an amazing example to his three children, always leading them with the right balance of grace and truth. Known as “Pop” to his seven grandchildren, he was a wonderful mixture of fun and wisdom. He was a wonderful story teller and his laughter filled our hearts with joy.

Ron was proceeded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Duncan and his brother David Duncan.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; his three children, John (Amy) Duncan, Debi (Jim) Kirk, Rob (Tami) Duncan; his seven grandchildren, Jeff Harper, Roni (Brenden) Brown, Irish (Sam) Noble, Boston Duncan, Raina (Barret) Wilson, Josh Duncan, and Annye Harper; his three great grand children, Kaiden, Nora and Leland Brown; one sister, Linda Reed; and many nephews, nieces and extended family.

Ron knew that he was saved by the work of Jesus on the cross and he loved the Lord. He was not a perfect man but the world was a better place because of Ron Duncan and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A Graveside Service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, US, on March 6, 2026, at 2:30 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home Historic Chapel, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131, US, on March 6, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
