Sammie passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 8, 2017. She was a kind and loving Christian lady. Sammie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bud, and recently by her only child, Blaine McCown. Sammie grew up in Duncan, Ok. She left Duncan to go to OSU, where she graduated. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Debbie, and her much-beloved granddaughter, Beth.
There will be a funeral service at 10:00 am, Saturday, the 15th of April at Memorial Park Funeral Home 13313 N Kelley Ave. Oklahoma City, 73131. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
