Suzanne "Grandy" Trimble

Suzanne Trimble, went to be with the Lord July 26, 2020. Suzanne “Grandy” was born in Middletown, Ohio to George and Beatrice Harvey on December 21, 1934. She graduated from Middletown High School and attended DePauw University and Indiana University where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority, and earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Education. She taught school in Hawaii and Carmel, California, and returned home to Middletown Ohio to marry Jimmy Trimble in June of 1959.

She later had a successful career as business owner of “Yesterday’s Lace Shoppe” in Old Town Spring, just north of Houston, Texas.

Active in her church, she taught many Sunday school classes, and bible studies, and served on several church committees. She volunteered for the Red Cross, Mt. Pleasant Nursing Home, Noonday Food Bank, and East Texas Medical Center.

Suzanne is proceeded in death by her son Andy, her husband Jimmy, and her daughter Karen Griffiths. She is survived by her daughter Traci Edwards and her husband Mark, from Arcadia, Oklahoma, and grandchildren Carianne, Brogan, and Caden, son in law Chris Griffiths, from Coppell, Texas, and grandchildren Avery, and Hannah. She is also survived by her sister Saralee Bishop from Middletown, Ohio.

A private Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held with the family to honor her memory on Saturday, August 8th, 2020. In Liew of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
