

Thomas Faulkner Murdoch, 88, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. Born in Oklahoma City on July 6, 1936, Thomas lived a life full of passion and dedication.
A proud graduate of Oklahoma City University, Tom earned a degree in business and spent a fulfilling career as a purchasing agent for OG&E. His professional life was marked by integrity and commitment, traits that extended into all areas of his life.
Tom was a devoted member of several RV clubs, reflecting his deep passion for RVing and sailing. His love for the open road and the freedom it brought was matched only by his enthusiasm for watching football, particularly when cheering for his beloved OU Sooners. When not on the road or watching a game, Tom found joy in gardening, cultivating beautiful flowers that brightened his life and the lives of those around him.
He is remembered fondly for his warm spirit, his love for his family and friends, and his zest for life. Thomas’s legacy is one of joy and adventure, a reminder to embrace our passions and savor every moment.
Thomas is survived by his children, Donna Kramer, and Brenda Finley and husband Leo; Grandchildren, Jarod Kramer and wife McKenzie, Mariah Dlack and husband Nick, Yance Kramer and wife Kayla, Jill Holberg and husband Nick, Amber Carey and husband Mike, Erika Finley, as well as 10 Great-Grandchildren.
A celebration of Thomas’s life will be held on Monday, October 7th, 2024 at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home’s Historic Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Arbor Day Foundation or the Oklahoma Humane Society, honoring Thomas’s memory and his love for nature and animals.
