Alberto Crespo

Alberto Crespo nació en Fajardo, Puerto Rico, el 3 de agosto de 1943. Hijo y hermano de pastores, respondió al llamado al ministerio a una edad temprana. Comenzó su labor pastoral en la Iglesia Betsaida en el Barrio Paraíso, Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Más adelante se trasladó a Rochester, Nueva York, donde sirvió como pastor en la Iglesia de Dios Mission Board. Al mudarse a Orlando, Florida, pastoreó la Iglesia Sol de Justicia, primero en Oak Ridge Road y luego en Michigan Street, en lo que hoy se conoce como Iglesia Misionera El Candelero.

Después de dejar el pastorado, Alberto permaneció como un fiel miembro de su iglesia, continuando alabando a Dios con su guitarra, sus cantos y en ocasiones compartiendo la predicación. Su vida fue un testimonio de su devoción, fe y servicio al Señor.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Luz Sosthenia Crespo; sus hijos, Alberto Jr., Samuel, Madelyn, Elvin, Abisael y Leyda; su hermano, Elías; y su hermana, Isabel.

In Loving Memory of Alberto Crespo

Alberto Crespo was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, on August 3, 1943. The son and brother of pastors, he answered the call to ministry at an early age. He began his pastoral work at Iglesia Betsaida in Barrio Paraíso, Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

He later moved to Rochester, New York, where he served as pastor at Iglesia de Dios Mission Board. Upon relocating to Orlando, Florida, he pastored Iglesia Sol de Justicia, first on Oak Ridge Road and later on Michigan Street, at what is now known as Iglesia Misionera El Candelero.

After stepping down from the pastorate, Alberto remained a faithful member of his church, continuing to praise God through his guitar, his songs, and occasional preaching. His life was a testament to his devotion, faith, and service to the Lord.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Luz Sosthenia Crespo; his children, Alberto Jr., Samuel, Madelyn, Elvin, Abisael, and Leyda; his brother, Elias; and his sister, Isabel.

A Graveside Service will be held at SE Cemeteries of Florida DBA Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 HARRELL RD, ORLANDO, FL 32817, US, on March 22, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
