Dat had a career in electronics for the company, Bose. He had a passion for watching tennis and listening to classical music.
Dat is survived by his wife, Nguyet Minh Vu; children, Tina Vu-Heaton (Tom) and Alex Vu (Linda); six grandchildren; and three brothers and three sisters.
A visitation will be held on December 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, located at 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
The funeral service will follow on the same day, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same venue.
A committal service will take place on December 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at SE Cemeteries of Florida DBA Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
