He was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on August 17, 1952. Eliezer graduated from Escuela Superior Santiago Veve Calzada(Fajardo) and received a high school diploma.
He married Gladys E. Nieves Diaz on October 25, 1975.
Eliezer had a career in quality Control for manufacturing. He was a member of Xariz Family Worship Center and Centro Cristiano Restauracion and has a passion for God and His Word.
He is survived by his children Jamil A. Collazo Nieves and Greshka J. Collazo Nieves. Brothers and sisters Ana Lydia Collazo, Iris Collazo, Elizabeth Collazo, Adelaida Collazo, Eva Collazo, David Collazo, and Jose Collazo.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
