When i was sixteen i was moved to yet another foster home in Queen's NY.
Unlike other homes i was received with lots of warmth and kindnes. I was child full of anger and confusion.  I had just resently had lost my biological parents.  I learn that there are families that do care and love you for you.  Esther Falcon has never been my foster mother because I never felt like a foster child.  She had the patience and kindness and the love i so needed and she gave me that and so much more.  When they decided to move to Florida i thought for sure i would have to move again.  But she asked me if I wanted to go cause your part of this family.  I was the happiest person on earth.  That when she filled that empty space in my heart and became my mom til the end.  My mom was always there for me.  Always had lending ear never judge me always and always showed me love and always grateful for everything.  My children alway seen and talked about her as there grandma.
My memories of mom are so many from the time we met til i had my own grandchildren.  I will miss you more then you could imagine.  I will keep you in my heart and my memories until we see each other again ....my mom my friend forever.  I love you mom

Dear Abuela I will forever miss you, but my heart is at peace and filled with sweet memories and the happiness in knowing that you will never again have suffering. You're at peace and living a different and beautiful new life with our Heavenly Father. I am a woman now, but as a child I looked forward to coming to see you and my dad. I always knew you'd rub my back while I was laying in your bed. When it was time to sleep you played beautiful sound scapes with thunderstorms and rain sounds. Those were my favorite sounds along with the fan going for sure. I always felt like I was in a dream when I visited, and I loved waking up and seeing the orange tree that reminded me of grandpa and when he used to feed the birds. You helped create beautiful memories for my childhood and habits that stick like not being able to sleep without the fan. I love you mi Abuela hermosa, and your memories will live on in all of us until we meet again in heaven. 

                                                   

God Bless Madrina and May she rest in peace. She was strong woman with a big heart.  I remember as a young girl visiting her home in queens the house would be full of family , laughing and  playing games. In my eyes she was who I wanted to be. Someone who cared about others and gave it all from deep within. 

I will say the last visit was special for me because I was able to bring her flowers, hold her hand and just bring a smile to her face. That’s a memory I will never forget and will absolutely cherish for the rest of my life.

To the Falcon-Alvarado and Garcia family, my deepest condolences to you all. Titi Esther was a kind, warm , loving woman. She always gave of herself to help others.  She was the voice of reason. I feel fortunate that she was a part of my life as well as that of my children. She will be missed but never forgotten. As for memories, there are too many to name all of them, beginning from my childhood. One particular one was a special road trip.  I  rode from Queens to Orlando, with Tio Carmelo, Titi Esther and all the kids. They were moving to Florida.  The "old stationwagon" was packed to the brim. We had a ball, we laughed a lot and I even got scolded a bit.  One night we stopped at a little motel and the beds had vibrating mattresses. I fed the machine some quarters and you could imagine the mayhem! The kids were screaming, laughing, jumping on beds when Tio Carmelo walked into the room! His face was priceless, I'm sure his voice was heard throughout the motel. Of course, Titi was able to calm him down, reasoning with him about how the kids needed to let out energy after such a long ride that day. We all laughed about it later that trip. On a few occasions when I  saw her recently, she would bring it up and we would have a great big laugh again.  As I  said, there are many, many memories filled with lots of love and humor.  Esther Alvarado Falcon, may you rest in peace, you will live in our hearts.
