She was born in Dunlap, TN, on January 12, 1943. Frances attended high school at Sequatchie County High School in TN and attended 2 years at Lee College in Cleveland, TN.
She was a homemaker with a passion for arts, crafts, sewing, and quilting. She had her own craft store at one time and later worked at Michaels, where she taught craft classes. As midlife neared, she shifted careers to working at an Elementary School Cafeteria, which she loved. Charlene has a great sense of humor, a loving heart, and loves Elvis Presley.
She was married to Charles Ray Linton (deceased) for 43 years, having two children, Charles Ray Linton Jr (deceased) and Charlene Deborah Linton.

Daughter, Charlene Deborah Linton, Brothers and Sisters, Rufus Hickey, Evelyn Long, Anthony Skyles, Janice Rothermel, Judy Depper, Peggy Cornelius, Ruby Colado. Sister in law, Willa Dean Risner, and her sister Alice Linton.
