Jamie Lee Kettering

12 October, 200017 March, 2020

Jamie Lee Kettering, was born on October 12th, 2000 in Orlando Florida to mother Lisa and father Jimmy Kettering. Her life was unfortunately taken from her at 19 by a fatal gunshot wound on March 17. Her family is shocked and deeply saddened by their loss.

Upon meeting Jamie it was clear she had a beautiful soul full of ambition. And a giving heart filled with love. Jamie was an honor roll student who loved to exercise her artistic side. Spending much of her time painting, drawing, and sculpting breathtaking art.

She leaves her parents, relatives and close friends to cherish her beloved memory. But Jamie isn’t gone, she will live forever through her mother, father, and everyone else that had the pleasure of meeting her. Remember her voice, remember her laugh, and remember her life. So that the precious memory of Jamie Lee Kettering will never fade from existence.

Jamie I will miss all the times that we shared. I will miss the times that we went to planet fitness together, the late night movie watching and eating popcorn. I will miss the times that we would go on out window shopping sprees and take silly pictures like this!! It has been my honor to share since a great life experience with such a sweet young soon, and it was my honor teaching you how to drive. We love to laugh doing the x when Mom Lisa would say"Tia don't let Jamie drive!"but as soon as we can. Around that corner use whipping that steering wheel!! We all love to hear on Earth but God loves you more. God bless you and he wanted you home to be by his side. Garfield you was much more precious than to be left here on this Earth and times like these. Rest in peace you beautiful angel. Until we meet again. I will always love you Jamie...

So sorry & sad to hear about Jamie. There are no words that any one can say or understand the emptiness you are experiencing in your heart & mind. Dwell on the good & fun times you had with her & we know she will be with you the rest of you lives. My memory of Jamie is her tolerating the MIB at your brothers wedding.

I remember the day I first saw Jamie in my second grade class. Her shy, but bright smile could not be missed. From day one in my class, she was always smiling and caring about the other students. She was forever asking if she could help. She was sensitive, bright and always willing to help others. Jamie you will be missed, but I know that heaven has gained an angel. You will be looking down on us, helping your family and friends through this difficult time. Love you dear girl.
