Kathleen Zembower

Kathy was born on August 26, 1929, in Fintona, Northern Ireland, to Patrick and Mary Quinn (née Gallagher). She worked in Scotland and England before meeting her future husband, Arnold Zembower, who was stationed in London with the US Air Force. Kathy came to the United States where she and Arnold were married in 1955. After living in various places due to Air Force assignments (New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Turkey, and Oregon), they settled in Orlando, Florida in 1971, a place Kathy loved and considered home.

Kathy worked at the Sears store in the Orlando Fashion Square Mall for many years. She was a cheerful, pleasant person who formed friends easily. Kathy enjoyed hosting card games at her house with her friends and playing bingo wherever she could find it. She was terrified of the two-person airplane her husband purchased in the 1970s and only flew in it once. She loved to travel and some of her favorite destinations were Las Vegas and Chicago to visit her family. Kathy loved her two grandsons and bragged about them to anyone who would listen.

Kathy is survived by her son David Zembower; daughter-in-law Teresa Zembower (née Redfoot); two grandsons, Nicholas and Jacob Zembower; and sisters Patricia and Teresa. She will be sorely missed by her family.

A visitation will be held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, located at 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL, 32817, on December 27, 2025, from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL, 32817, on December 27, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
