He was born in Yumbo, Colombia on September 13, 1938. Laureano received his AA degree from Valencia Community college.
On January 12, 1962 he married Lucy (Londono) Prado, and they just celebrated their 63-wedding anniversary.
Laureano had a career in hospitality, and he worked for Golden Door in New York, Days Inn in Orlando, Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando and Disney World in Orlando.
He had a passion for music, singing, poetry, drawing, lottery and flea markets.
Laureano is survived by his wife and four daughters, Liliana Prado, Claudia (Dennis) Perez, Laura (Micheal) Montalvo, and Vivian Ortiz. His grandchildren, Tania Guerrero, Sasha Guerrero, Taylor Provenzano, Claudia (Jeancarlo) Aragon, Christian Guerrero, Jannelle (Johnathan) Whalen, David (Mckenzie) Provenzano, Christian Ortiz, Katrina Perez, Natalie Perez, Daniel Ortiz and Gabriel Perez. Great-grandchildren, Everly Provenzano, Brooks Provenzano, Judah Provenzano, Camilo Aragon, Lucas Guerrero, Cooper Whalen. He is also survived by his siblings, Consuelo Prado, Silvio Prado, Lucy Prado and Alfonso Prado.
A visitation for Laureano will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817. A graveside will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817.
