Our families have been neighbors for 45 years. Our kids grew up together, so we have a lot of great memories with them. Larry was a great friend and neighbor, he was our go to guy for all projects and repairs around the house. He was very generous with his time and knowledge. He always watched over our house when we weren’t home without us even asking.  You couldn’t have a better friend or neighbor than Sir Lawrence.  We will miss him!  Our hearts go out to his family.

The Poole family has lived crossed the street from the Singler family for over 45 years. Three memories that stand out the most…..Larry always had the right tool to help us in a time of need, the scar on my leg when I leaned up against the motorcycle muffler(Larry said, I bet you won’t do that again)  and hearing the lawn mower way to early on Saturday morning.  

Rest in my peace my friend.

I have so many great memories at UPMS, you never know how good it was until you have to leave. Larry was a mentor that I could talk to about anything. He was the best left us way too soon.

Larry was my first AP at Union Park Middle School from 2000 to 2003. 25 years later, he is still my favorite AP. In the first few weeks of my first year teaching, we had a 2-minute conversation that has shaped my entire career. Larry was a great person and was an example for every other administrator in OCPS. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
