June 5, 1925 – October 15, 2025
Luella, 100 years old, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Highland Grove, Ontario, Canada, on June 5, 1925, to Alice Sears Donaldson and William Donaldson.
Luella had six brothers and five sisters.
In 1942, at the age of 17, she met Arthur Innanen, and they married on March 31st, 1943.
In 1955, they moved to the United States with their children—Victor, Evelyn, and Sherry—to begin an exciting new chapter with Arthur joining his brother Bill in the construction business in Central Florida. Filled with hope and this new opportunity, Arthur and Luella built not only a life together but a legacy of love that continues through generations.
Luella’s heart was truly her greatest gift. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally, and her kindness reached far beyond her home. She had a gentle, joyful spirit and an ability to make everyone she met feel valued and loved. Music brought her great joy, and her laughter could brighten any day. Her faith in Jesus guided her, and her love sustained her family through every season of life.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Riggan; her grandchildren, Robb Innanen, Steve Innanen, Doug Innanen, Jeff Riggan, Scott Riggan, Misi Hopwood, Tami Doyle, Jenni Baker, and Traci Walton; ten great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her cherished siblings, Donald Donaldson, Anne Rimmer, and Marion Freeman, all of Ontario, Canada.
Luella’s legacy is one of love, faith, and grace — a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
