Martin Torres Rodriguez

29 June, 1983 – 3 April, 2026
IN THE CARE OF

Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill & Chapel Hill Cemetery

Martin Torres Rodriguez, 42, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Kissimmee, Florida.

He was born on June 29, 1983, in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

His nicknames included Junior, Junito, and Picaro.

Martin was the father of Scarlett and Nathan Torres, whom he loved deeply. His children were his greatest source of strength and the reason he kept moving forward each day.

He had a deep love for animals and spent many years training dogs, forming strong bonds with them through his patience and dedication.

A thrill seeker at heart, Martin was always chasing his next adventure. He loved motorcycles, with his last being his red Ducati Monster, a reflection of his bold and free-spirited nature.

Martin’s faith and connection with our Lord Jesus Christ were a guiding force in his life. Through that faith, he formed deep connections that he cherished and nurtured until his very last day. He sought love and closeness with those he cared about most, holding those relationships close to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Otilio “Picaro” Rodriguez, who raised him and played a significant role in his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Scarlett and Nathan Torres; his wife, Dalitza Colon; his stepchildren Liann and Jaydalis Santiago; his mother, Maria Rodriguez; his father, Martin Torres Sr.; his stepmother, Nilza Torres; his sisters, Aztrid and Alison; his brothers, Airam, Tyler, and Kristian; his uncles, Quique, Miguel, Ibrahim, Gardo, Toto, Aminahad, Raul, Israel, and Octavio; his aunts, Raquel, Maria Del Carmen “Carmin”, Marid, and Virgen “Provy”; his grandmother, Monserrate; his godfather, Melvin; his close friends, Andy, Gusi, Alberto, and Darvin; along with many other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A free spirit, Martin lived life on his terms.

Though he faced many challenges, he was resilient—someone who continued to rise, again and again, and kept fighting no matter what came his way.

He will be remembered for his strength, his individuality, and the love he carried for those closest to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his children, who will carry his memory forward.
