Michael Allen Shanahan was born on April 13, 1965 in Clinton- Sherman Airforce base, Oklahoma, The son of Bill and Norma ( Shaw) Shanahan.
On December 17, 1983 Michael married the love of his life Diane (Bonnough)Shanahan in Shreveport, Louisiana, together building there life and there family. Michael spent his career working construction. On his time off he enjoyed time with his family and friends and had a passion for fishing, BBQ tournaments and music to name a few.
Michael is survived by a son Joshua Shanahan and his wife Ashley, a daughter Heather Powell and her husband Ron;2 grandchildren Marlee; Claire; 5 siblings Carmen Best; Christopher Elliot; Richard Jackson; Patrick Shanahan and Erin Renninger.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Norma(Shaw) Shanahan. His wife Diane Shanahan and brother Jim Shanahan.
A memorial service will be held March 28, 2026 at 1pm at Risen Savior Lutheran Church 1331 S. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL. With a celebration of life to follow at 19101 Sheldon St. Orlando, FL 32833
